Cut It Out was founded by Irene Capriz and Luca Sciascia and it began life as a small project between friends that then exploded into an incredible adventure reaching all corners of the world.
Launching the brand in 2009 was fairly low key given the tough economic times and the tight budget. A small capsule collection of just 28 pieces was presented at Touch! Milan.
It was instant success. The collection was bought by some of the best and most respected boutiques on both the Italian and international scene, among them Harvey Nichols, Anna Ravazzoli, Cyberia and Eleonora International.
Ever since that day the duo established the brand's recognizable features: hand-made embroideries that transform any shape into timeless pieces. Sequins, beads, metals and stones beautifully combined together to create a casual look of understated sophistication.
The name Cut It Out hints at cutting all the unessential and the unwanted away and dictates a return to individuality and design integrity. It is a philosophy that goes beyond the fashion circle and embraces a larger approach to life.
Most of all Cut It Out represents the passion of a very young duo that started out of nothing with just the belief and enthusiasm of wanting to succeed.
